I discovered this shop while driving by, and decided to pop in. I’ve been planning on getting a birdfeeder for our backyard for a while. The owner, Susan, was extremely kind and friendly, and helped me select the perfect squirrel-proof feeder and seed. The shop also has bird baths, bird watching hobby supplies such as binoculars and guides, adorable embroidered bird hats, and more. Susan told me about a free app that can help identify backyard birds! I will definitely be back. I recommend anyone who enjoys watching birds in their backyard come and support this awesome local business.

You get lots of good bird knowledge with their staff. Well stocked store and they show you all the possibilities if you are new to feeding and following the birds. Lilly and Cheyenne are the best!

This is nothing but a hobby shop for birds selling to city people that would not know fresh grain if they did not read it off of the handy dandy laminated piece of paper. Go to a local feed and grain if you want fresh grain for 1/2 the price and twice the quality.

From the moment you walk in the store you immediately feel relaxed. If you are having a stressful day my advice is go spend some time browsing through Macon’s Wild Bird Store. You will feel better within minutes of looking at all their beautiful bird houses and supplies especially while listening to the water fountains and soft music. My husband and I have always love the Wild Bird store in Macon from the time it opened its doors over 25 years ago because they always have such knowledgeable and helpful employees. This has been even more evident the past couple of years. Besides the lovely atmosphere, the knowledge employees are so sweet. It’s evident they enjoy their work because they go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your shopping experience whether you are there just looking or buying.

Love this store! Great selection of products to complete all of your wild bird needs, the staff is super friendly and knowledgable about birds. They seem to love their job and offer lots of good advice and suggestions. Cheyene, Lillie and Lemon have all been so helpful. The discount on bird seed and earning birdie bucks is a great benefit to being a member. My birdies are very happy .
